The Junior Ranger Chickaree Program is for kids ages 2-5. Learn why the Monument is so special while expressing your creative side.
The Junior Ranger Program is for kids ages 5 and up. This program is fun and rewarding. Upon completion of this program, you now share the responsibilities of protecting and preserving the Monument.
You can also earn Junior Ranger trail buttons upon completion of activity sheets while hiking any one of the trails on the Monument. You can download and print these trail button activities sheets too so you are prepared before you come!
You can also spend some time relaxing in the shade of the white oak near the Visitor Center while listening and participating in Ranger Programs. These programs may be about a variety of topics such as mountain lions, forest fires, or tree identification.
